Nine Star Ki: your star and lucky directions

About Nine Star Ki

Your main star (honmei-sei) comes from your birth year and your month star (getsumei-sei) from your birth month, both counted from the solar terms. Each year the nine stars move around a magic-square chart, and where your star lands tells the theme of your year. The unlucky directions shown are Gōō-satsu, Anken-satsu, Honmei-satsu, Honmei-teki-satsu and Saiha (Geppa for months). Learn more in what Nine Star Ki is and using lucky directions.
