How the days are chosen
The rules are the same as on the lists for each purpose. For marriage, Taian and Tomobiki count with Tenshabi and Ichiryū-manbai-bi; for a wallet, Tiger, Snake and Tsuchinoto-mi days count most; for opening a business, Kinoe-ne days. The safe-birth blessing uses Dog days only, with ◎ for those on Taian or Tomobiki. For moving, days during Doyō are never ◎, and Sanrinbō is marked.

FAQ
How are the lucky days chosen?
For each purpose we combine the rokuyō (Taian, Tomobiki) with lucky notes such as Tenshabi, Ichiryū-manbai-bi, Tiger and Snake days, and leave out days that fall on unlucky notes such as Fujōju-bi and Jushi-bi. ◎ marks Tenshabi or a day where two or more lucky notes overlap.
Can I search for weekends only?
Yes. Tick “Weekends and holidays only” to see only Saturdays, Sundays and Japanese public holidays.
What about Tenshabi that falls on Fujōju-bi?
We follow the view that Fujōju-bi and Jushi-bi cancel out a lucky day, so those days are left out. Schools differ on this.
How far ahead can I search?
Up to 31 December 2027.
